IS A COMPARTMENTATION SURVEY NECESSARY?

You don’t want to wait until there’s a fire to find out that your safety measures aren’t up to standard. A compartmentation survey involves a detailed inspection of the property, with a follow up report outlining any areas where fire resisting measures may have been breached. One of our team can then talk through the remedial works needed to stop the spread of smoke and fire.

COMPARTMENTATION SURVEYS COVER:

  • Identification of penetrations – Identify the openings and penetrations in walls, floors and ceilings including all mechanical and electrical works

  • Assessment of existing fire stopping – Evaluate the condition and effectiveness of any current fire stopping installations

  • Testing and sampling - In some cases, perform destructive testing to assess the integrity and fire resistance of existing materials

  • Recommendations – provide recommendations for improvements or repairs to enhance the overall effectiveness

  • Supply and install

  • Verification of compliance – 3rd party accreditation certification
